Paul Methuen) inscribed and signed by Methuen on reverse stating "Bring back this man at once" and showing "field telegraph/sh/jul 1685" d.s. in violet; 2) from Mafeking to Setlagoli informing Methuen that McHatttie had been given copies of Methuen's telegram, showing "field telegraph/sh/jul 1885/no 92"d.s. in violet; and 3) used at Taungs from the Quartermaster to his opposite number at Vryburg concerning runner.
