1903 (20 July) envelope with a fine pen and ink cartoon of a rural postman address to Mrs W. Street in Cove and showing a signpost "To Farnboro", bears a pair of India Q.V. ½a. tied by fine strikes of "dthali" c.d.s., the reverse with Aden (21.7) overstruck by Farnborough (2.8) c.d.s. Sent by Sgt. William Eade of the 1st Hampshire Regiment. A marvellous and charismatic cover featuring the 'winking postman'. Photo
