Queen Elizabeth II
1939 Queen Elizabeth photographed by Cecil Beaton, with his signature to the lower right on the image. The Queen is dressed in Hartnell crinoline and wears the diamond fringe tiara made in 1830 from jewels that had belonged to George III. The diamond necklaces belonged to Queen Victoria. An uncommon presentation photograph that was not much distributed due to the outbreak of war in September 1939 (25x32cm)
