Dr. Bertrand Dawson, Physician to King George V
1910-1925 Two Warrants of Appointment of Dr Bertrand Dawson, later Lord Dawson of Penn (1864-1945), Physician Extraordinary to King George V, who brought the King's life to a premature end on 20 January 1936. The Warrants dated 1910 and 1914, issued by the Lord Chamberlain's Office are signed by Lords Althorp and Sandhurst, with an Official Paid mourning envelope posted in January 1911. Together with a framed and glazed certificate from the American College of Surgeons admitting Lord Dawson as a Fellow in October 1925 (135x110mm) (3)
