1936 Christmas card with a studio photograph by Marcus Adams of the Royal Family signed below "George R.I." "Elizabeth R". The first of the reign following the abdication of King Edward VIII in December 1936. The printed message opposite reads "With all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, 1937". An iconic and important item, with the original blue tassel securing the card (170x130mm)
