1940 Folded card with an autograph message from the Princesses to their governess "To Crawfie / With every good wish for / Christmas and the NewYear /1941 / From : Lilibet and Margaret" The iconic photograph within the card, surrounded by festive drawings is explained in a pencil note alongside "Decorations painted by P.E. Photograph is of P.E. making her first broadcast, which was done at Windsor Castle during the War. (At the end of the broadcast she called P.M. to come to the microphone and say 'Goodnight' to the children who had been listening all over the world)" (210x150mm)
