1667 (June) Navy Office order to pay £343 1/8d. to Garvis Maplesden for an itemised quantity of supplies delivered the previous month to naval stores in Chatham. Signed "Brouncker", "Jo: Mennes", "Will: Batten", "Will: Penn" and "S Pepys", with filing endorsement on reverse. Wonderfully preserved and a superb example of this rare signature.
