1665 (25 April) document appointing William Crossboard as Boatwswain of H.M.S. "Little Unicorne" detailing wages and duties, signed "Jo: Mennes", "Will Batten", "Brouncker" and "S Pepys", given at Woolwich; some paper loss along left-hand edge where removed from folio otherwise very fine and a superb example of this signature.
