The Chris Moffat Collection of Nyasaland
1933 (23 June) memo on "tanganyika territory" headed paper quoting an extract from the Governor's Legislative Council meeting address on the 15 May, 1933 making particular reference to the new Symbol of the Protectorate, leopard against a rising sun background which was used on the flight covers and new low value stamps issued the following year. The page bears a hand stamp reading "southern brigade / 23 jun. 1933 / the king's african rifles.". Most unusual and of interest to collectors of the issue.
