1877 (2 Jan.) envelope registered to William Dawson in Bedford, addressed by Arthur Bailey, Surveyor General to the Falkland Islands, with very clear Red Frank (type F1) despatch c.d.s. at upper right and with crowned registration marking in black at lower left, manuscript "1/-" in purple and "6" (registration) in blue, London Registered Feb. 14 oval transit datestamp in red and same day arrival backstamp; part of reverse lower flap missing nevertheless very attractive and rare.
