Note: This was the only time Tin Can mail was ever collected by "Wave Baron". On 5 January 1951 an attempt by RMS "Orion" to collect the tin can mail "barrel" failed, thus the "Wave Baron" passed the islands on 17 January and as able to collect the mail.
