1868 (7 Mar.) envelope to Worcester "Via Marseilles" marked "Anatalo 7th March 1868" bearing India 6a.8p. tied by manuscript "Stamped/six annas/& eight pies" and with the barred "F.F." postmark with straight-line "india paid" in red alongside, the reverse with a good strike of "field force post office/abyssinia" (12.3) in red and Worcester arrival (31.3). A fine cover from this forward camp. Photo

Note: The India Paid handstamp was applied in the Base Office in Zulla. The letter was carried on the S.S. 'Sumatra' arriving in Suez on 14th March
