A selection (39, twelve registered) including 1935 (6 May) two envelopes from Forest Side locally addressed, one bearing full set, the 20c. showing variety diagonal line by turret; the other with 20c. block of four lower right showing variety dot to left of chapel fine and scarce First Day Covers (S.G. 247f, 247g) and others addressed to Mauritius, England, Scotland, USA, France, Denmark, Switzerland, South Africa, Canada, Burma, Germany and Czechoslovakia, comprising first day cancellations (5) including a Westminster illustrated First Day Cover, two Last Day Cover, envelopes (5) showing boxed bicentenary exhibition 1735-1935 handstamp, a registered commercial sample label to South Africa bearing 12c. (4), a stimulating lot for the student of the area.
