A selection (19, eight registered) addressed to U.S.A., England, Gold Coast, Egypt, Hong Kong, Germany and Switzerland, comprising envelope registered from Kumasi to England bearing 1d. ultramarine and grey-black block of four, the upper left stamp showing variety extra flagstaff, cancelled by oval registered c.d.s., fine and scarce, a Westminster illustrated First Day Cover envelope with full set, a 1935 maritime mail bearing 1d. (2) cancelled by deutsche seepost- linie westafrika hand stamp, a large envelope registered to Hong Kong bearing 1d. (6), 3d. (4), 6d. (4), 1/- (5), a captivating lot for the postal historian.
