A collection on pages, singles and multiples off-cover or on piece with many distinctive Crosses and coloured cancellations as identified by the collector, including Manchester Fishtail, Norwich, York, Wooton-under-Edge, Dublin, Leeds, Alexandria, Cork, Belfast, many barred numerals on multiples, a few with 'jumbo' margins, ten in coloured ink from blue to green, coloured Crosses including shades of blue and green, single with black and red Maltese Cross combination, numbered Crosses 1-12 and example cancelled by black Maltese Cross and part "penny/post" in green. Also "Great Britain, The Varieties and Characteristics of the 1d. Red Line-Engraved Stamps 1841-1864", by J.B.M. Stanton. An interesting and varied collection well worth viewing.
