JJ, good, even margins all round, tied by crisp red Maltese Cross to 1840 (16 May) entire letter from Wigan to Milnthorpe, very fine and the earliest known usage of this plate which was put to press just seven days prior according to Nissen, a most important item. M. Jackson Certificate (2022) corroborating this.
