1896-1932 postal history selection (13) arranged on written up pages including 1896 5m. stationery envelope front to London, marked "Field Service, no stamps procurable", cancelled by bi-lingual Wadi Halfa c.d.s., showing boxed "t", "5d/f.b." h.s. deleted by blue crayon and "7½d/f.b." h.s.; 1898 5m. double postcard (reply section attached) addressed to Cairo and redirected to London showing various postal marks including travelling post office; 1899 5m. postal card to Kamerun; 1900 1pi. postal envelope uprated with Egypt 1pi. to Barnet and redirected to Dover; 1931 underpaid First Flight Khartoum to Cape Town cover redirected to Maitland. Mixed condition, a very interesting lot for the specialist.
