1896 (25 Dec.) envelope registered from Mazagan addressed to Tanger bearing local 1893-95 20c. horizontal pair and 1p. cancelled by J. Brudo c.d.s. in black in combination with French Office 20c. on 20c. and 50c. on 50c. affixed alongside and cancelled by "mazagan/maroc" (30.12) c.d.s, the reverse with arrival Tangier (4.1.97). The envelope slightly crumpled and with small perimeter faults. A spectacular and rare mixed franking. Scheller Certificate (2009). Just one of two known covers bearing the 1p. value. Yvert 48, 51.
