Air 3d. and 10d. imperforate plate proofs in horizontal strips of six from the foot of the sheet with full imprint on gummed watermarked paper, the 10d. with manuscript " approved by H.C. letter dtd 12.2.31" and handstamped "r.h. fairbairns for / the high commissioner / for the union of south africa", one or two minor bends though very rare in large multiples.
