1872 watermark Small Star, perf 11 to 12½ x 14½ to 15½ (4d.) dull vermilion block of four, unused with part to large part original gum; the upper pair with slight gum thinning and the lower right stamp with a couple of tone spots on reverse, none of which affect the fine appearance. The only known mint block of four with the only other mint multiples known being three pairs. S.G. 57, £3,200+. Photo
