1/- black and blue-green, used in combination with 1/- grey-black and deep blue-green tied to piece by 'Salisbury/ S.Rhodesia' cancellations; good colour, fine and very rare. S.G. 151 and 181a, £3,000+

Note: It is claimed that only about a dozen used examples of this stamp are known. It is suggested that this may be the only examples used on piece. As such, it has full gum and is unwashed, and may well be the only used examples of which is true.
The item had a B.P.A certificate dated 9 December 1981 (now lost) stating that the item is genuine but 'the committee cannot certify that they belong to this piece.'
