LF good to large margins, tied by crisp black Maltese Cross to entire letter to Norfolk and Lombard Street datestamp of 1 March 1841 on reverse. The entire has been "turned" and was previously used from Canterbury to London (28.2), however the adhesives (presumably two 1841 1d.'s) are no longer present; filing folds, fine and rare.
