Dai Nippon overprint on 10c., 12c., 15c., 40c., 50c., $1 and $5, all tied by "dai nippon/g.p.o. penang" double-ring d.s. on 1942 (28 July) envelope registered to Singapore, showing sealing tape at left tied by Japanese censor h.s. and showing, on reverse, Penang (Type D73 State 2), Singapore and Katong (Type JD1) datestamps; the envelope with two vertical creases at left well clear of adhesives.
