Bank of Australasia, New Zealand, specimen, £50, Wellington, April 1930, serial number 00000, this £50 specimen note holds a unique quality because it features a date that is presently unlisted. It bears the date of April 1930 and is attributed to the Wellington office of issue. Interestingly, this date is beyond the known period of 1923-4 for such notes and Pick does not include a reference to office of issuance for S136 notes. The note displays striking bright red and brown hues, and its reverse side boasts the emblem of the Bank of Australasia in the same vivid colours as the front face. This exceptional banknote is truly rare; in fact, SCWPM has yet to include an illustration of S136. This is a testament to its scarcity and makes it a highly desirable item for passionate collectors
