The 'Kyrios' Collection | Kingdom of Baktria, Eukratides I (c. 171-135 BC), AR Tetradrachm, Balkh, c. 160-135, in commemoration of his parents, Heliokles and Laodike, BASILEIIS MEGAS/EUKRATIDIS diademed and draped bust right, wearing crested helmet ornamented with bull's horn and ear, rev. ILIOKLEIOS/KAI LAODIKIS jugate busts right, monogram behind, 16.79g (Mitchener 182b; Bop. 15A; SNG ANS 526), slightly sandy, with a cut to upper right of obverse, otherwise toned good very fine
