The 'Kyrios' Collection | Attica, Athens, AR Tetradrachm, c. 490 BC, head of Athena right, wearing a crested Attic helmet, rev. ATHE owl standing right, its head facing, olive sprig to left, all within shallow incuse square, 16.91g (Svoronos, pl. 4, 6; Seltman, group G, cf. pl. X, A 148; BMC 4; Asyut 332), banker's mark to head of owl, lightly tool-marked but otherwise a lovely example of the archaic style, extremely rare and very fine
