The 'Kyrios' Collection | Kingdom of Macedon, Demetrios Poliorketes (294-288 BC), Salamis, c. 300-295 BC, winged Nike standing left on prow, blowing trumpet and holding mast, rev. BASILEOS ANTIOXOY naked Poseidon standing left, chlamys wound round left arm, brandishing trident in right hand, monogram in form of double-axe on left, HP monogram between legs, 17.45g (Newell 60, pl. 3, 3 (reverse die)), excellent strike in high relief, toned and lustrous, really good very fine to extremely fine
