The 'Kyrios' Collection | Kingdom of Macedon, Philip II (359-336 BC), AR Tetradrachm, posthumous, Amphipolis, c. 323-315 BC, laureate head of Zeus right, rev. PHILLIPPOY horseman galloping right, holding palm, monogram before, aplustre below, 14.35g (SNG ANS 740; Le Rider 344 pl. 46, 18), boldly struck, slightly split to edge, bright from previous clean, but some lovely golden tone beginning to appear, attractive good very fine
