CLYPEVS OMNIBVS IN TE SPERANTIBVS Madonna and Child seated on cloud, halo of rays surround, 3.52g, 12h (Hahn 251; Wittelsbach 1931; Cahn 237; Fb. 236), partial striking softness at 3 o'clock where adjusted and in corresponding area of reverse, otherwise attractively lustrous with wisps of honey-golden tone, a pleasingly bold extremely fine and much as issued, seldom encountered at auction, in NGC holder, graded MS63+ (Cert. #6768684-031)
