(g) The Dr Frank Becker Collection | South Africa, Z.A.R., Paul Kruger (1892-1900), 'Single Shaft' Gold Half-Ponds, 1896, Pretoria (4), ZUID AFRIKAANSCHE REPUBLIEK, bare-headed and suited bust left, rev. 1/2 POND * 1896, eagle atop coat-of arms, single-shaft wagon below, edge milled, 3.95g, 12h, cleaned with a rim bruise at 1 o'clock, otherwise struck details bolder than fine; another, similar, edge milled, 3.96g, 12h, light tone with rub, almost very fine; another, as before, edge milled, 3.95g, 12h, removed from a mount, cleaned with sweated surfaces, fine; lastly, as first, edge milled, 3.97g, 12h (Hern Z42; Fb. 3; KM 9.2), once wiped and light contact marked, otherwise very fine (4)
