St George and Dragon in Garter, edge milled, 8.01g, 6h (cf. Marsh 1; cf. MCE 464; cf. Spink 3785), the undertype lustrous, extremely fine, the bizarre private countermark similarly so, an interesting piece of social history alongside being a wanton act of numismatic vandalism on the immensely popular seminal year of the world-famous Modern Sovereign
