Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Shilling, 1711, fourth draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 6.06g, 6h (ESC 1158; Bull 1408; Spink 3618), small metal flaw to the second N in ANNA, slight softness from rub and some very faint contact marks, otherwise with a handsome dark tone and lustre in the legends, very fine; another, George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1721 over 0, first laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.94g, 6h (Bull 1578; ESC 1172; Spink 3645), mostly flat to the central devices, yet the fields with a pleasing dark uniform tone, good fine, very fine in parts, the overdate very clear (2)
