Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1681 TRICESIMO TERTIO, fourth laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, nine strings to harp, upwards lettered edge, 29.77g, 6h (ESC 64; Bull 414; Spink 3359), flecked and adjustments marks running through date, with usual softness to hair, otherwise with a flash of lustre beneath a dark grey tone, a really wholesome and pleasing very fine
