MON | EÐELRED | ETA, moneyer's name in three lines in and between two lunettes, [Spink XRF: 73.59% Cu; 18.97% Ag; 3.87% Sn; 1.72% Os; 0.86% Zn; 0.449% Pb; 0.31% Ir; 0.230% Au], 1.17g [18.06grns], 12h (Lyons & MacKay [2007], Ae2.61-74 this coin not listed; SCBI 20 [Mack], 725; North 622; Spink 1055), rich dark 'Thames' patination with hues of cuprous tinge beneath, a trace of die softness to peripheries, otherwise a truly outstanding example for type, practically mint state and extremely rare thus
