L • AEMILIVS • BVCA, Venus Victrix standing left, Victory left in outstretched right hand, sceptre in left, [Median Spink XRF: ~ 97.495% Ag; ~ 0.456% Au; ~ 1.695% Cu; ~ 0.356% Pb], 3.314g [51.14grns], 4h (RRC 480/4; Sydenham 1060; Julia 34 and Aemilia 13), broad off-struck on an elliptical flan, lightly toned with peripheral striking softness, a really good fine, the haunting last portrait of Caesar's uniform and bold, scarce and struck only weeks before the world's most famous murders
