The 'Haddenham' Collection of English Coins | Durotriges, Uninscribed Coinage (50 BC - AD 50), 'Starfish Type', AR Quarter Staters (2), one five armed starfish, lines of pellets between each arm, rev. zigzag thunderbolt and line of pellets across fields, eight rayed lighting flash with rectangular body either side, 1.09g (BMC 2780-2781; Mack 320; VA 1273-1; ABC 2220; Spink 369), well struck, clear details, lightly toned, beginnings of verdigris but otherwise very fine; and 'Struck Bronze Type', Bronze Stater, wreath, cloak and crescents, rev. disjointed horse, 3.58g (BMC 2790-2859; Mack 318; VA 1290; ABC 2175; Spink 371), green patina, struck on irregular flan, significant wear, fine (2)
