(x) Victoria (1837-1901), Proof 'Gothic' Crown, MDCCCXLVII [1847] UNDECIMO, by W Wyon, crowned 'Gothic' bust left, WW on truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, raised lettered edge downwards, 28.27g, 6h (ESC 288; Bull 2571; Spink 3883), faint contact points to neck, otherwise with a pleasing brilliance to uniformally grey and cabinet toned surfaces, the reverse with rich pinkish hues, extremely fine, a superior example of this ever-sought one-year type
