(x) George III (1760-1820), 'Rose' Guinea, 1772, third laureate head right, rev. crowned garnished shield, seven strings to harp, chevron milled edge, 8.38g, 6h (MCE 377; Farey 1120; EGC 683; Spink 3727), a touch of rub to the cheek and friction in fields, otherwise with an attractive reddish hue across lustrous original surfaces, extremely fine, a pleasing coin, scarce in this state
