II, nos. 13-14, [and Sale, lot 450 same dies]; Cumberland Clark 100 same dies; Paget 98 same dies; Lingford 168 same dies; Brooker 806/- ; North 2405; Spink 2946), struck on a defective planchet with resultant scarring to Declaration, a further trace of doubling to obverse legend, otherwise a most handsomely toned and remarkably well balanced example for this immensely desirable Provincial Civil War striking, the key devices considerably above average for type, a most pleasing and wholesome very fine bordering on extremely fine in parts, rare especially in this grade
