(m.m) RVTILANS : ROSA : SINE : SPINA :, double saltire stops, crowned double Tudor rose, dividing h-K, 1.83g [28.2grns], 2h, m.m. rose (Schneider I, 599; Stewartby pp. 471; North 1794; Spink 2285), an irregular flan between 1 and 3 o'clock, otherwise uniformally struck-up and handsomely lustrous with peripheral honey-golden toning, a tiny fault through shield, otherwise a pleasingly good very fine, seldom encountered, especially in so presentable a grade as this
