EXALTABITVR IN GLORI, the V double-sunk, double saltire after in, leaf on inner circle at 11 o'clock, floriate cross, lis at centre, all within double tressure, 1.73g [26.7grns], 1h, m.m. lys (Brooke IV; Whitton 10; Stewartby IV; Montagu -; Murdoch -; 'Astronomer' [McClean] 21* 'unpublished' = L E Bruun 427* (£30.0.0) = Lockett 3097 (£80.0.0) same dies; Reigate 116 same dies; Schneider I, 330; North 1473; Spink 1829), noted in the Ryan catalogue as 'holed', now masterfully plugged at 1 o'clock, otherwise handsomely toned, good very fine, excessively rare with only four examples known
