(Tsarist) Russia, Ekaterina II Velikaya (Catherine the Great) (1762-1792), Gold 5-Roubles, 1767, St Petersburg, by Petrov, crowned, draped and cuirassed narrower bust right, rev. coats-of-arms cruciform, date in angles, edge obliquely milled, 6.58g [101.6grns], 12h (Bitkin 62 [15]; Diakov 160; Fb. 130a; KM C78a; Sev. 283 listed only as an overdate), lustrous with handsome orange-red toning to reverse, a pleasingly good very fine, rare in this state, with an original mintage of only 90,000 pieces
