Jersey Identity Card, No. 14196, issued to 'Sidney Macdonald Proudley', with his photograph stapled to the card, very fine

Sidney Macdonald Proudley was born at Highcliffe, Hampshire on 8 September 1913 and by the outbreak of the Second World War was living at 16 Windsor Road, St Helier, Jersey. He was deported from the Channel Islands to Germany in December 1942 and was onetime held at Ilag VII Laufen (OBB), with several letters and airmails sent whilst he was held being published in Islanders Deported.
