Mary Ann Esther Le Cornu (nee Vibert) was born at St Ouens, Jersey on 25 November 1860 and during the Second World War lived at 35 Mouait Durand, St Peters Port.

Phyllis Mary Le Cornu was born on Guernsey on 25 November 1911 and lived with her grandmother during the Second World War. The reverse of her card is inscribed in pencil 'Gnr Wright RA Regt. London' - likely a member of the Channel Islands Liberation Force 135.
