Euboia Eritrea, AR Tetradrachm, C. 160 BC, Draped bust of Artemis right, hair tied up with patterned Korymbos, draped around shoulders, wearing double pearl necklace, bow and quiver over her left shoulder. rev. Sacrificial bull standing right, with filleted horns, head facing, above, ERETRIEON, in exergue, PHILIPPOS (Magistrate), all within laurel wreath, 14.22g, (Regling, ZfN 38, 1928, 57; Mørkholm, Early Hellenistic Coinage, pl. XLI, 612; BCD Euboia 342 ) in superb condition, slight die rust on both sides, very little wear, bust of Artemis masterfully engraved in late classical style, good extremely fine
