South Africa and Rhodesia: Anglo American Corporation of South Africa Limited, £25 6% Cumulative Preferred stock, 19[39], 2 examples and £50, 19[29], 1 example, large format pieces printed by Waterlow & sons, mauve and blue respectively, with coupons, hole cancelled. Large and well known company formed in 1917 by Sir Ernest Oppenheimer to invest in gold mining in the Transvaal and in Northern Rhodesia. One of the £25 VF, the other with tears at right with some paper loss, the £50 split along folds with some tape repair. All rare nevertheless (3).
