Great Britain: Devon & Exeter Turkish Bath Company Limited, £5 shares, 18[97], #24, scrollwork at left, brown. Registered 24th October 1896 to establish a Turkish bath in Northernhay Street, Exeter, adjoining the Rougemont Hotel. Wound up in 1899 due to an adverse lawsuit against the company which ordered part of their building to be pulled down. The premises seem to have been acquired and relaunched as Hill's Devon & Exeter Turkish Baths in 1902. VF and rare.
