Great Britain: Odhams Press Ltd., ordinary 4/- shares, 19[26], #14383, signed by chairman W.J.B.Odhams, green. Business started by William Odhams in 1890 publishing a weekly named the Guardian. Taken over by his two sons the business flourished and merged in 1920 with John Bull Ltd to become Odhams Press Ltd. The company produced some of the best names still known today such as Woman, Ideal Home, and Horse and Hound. Taken over by the Mirror Group in 1961. GVF.
