Great Britain: Government Pensions, a pair of exchequer receipts, in the name of Lord Thurlow, both dated 1790, making payments of £62 10 shillings and £20, for 3 months pension, black printing with manuscript insertions, different printing, embossed duty stamp on the first only. Lord Thurlow (1731-1806), served as Lord Chancellor under 3 Prime Ministers, 1778-1792. Trimmed as usual VF (2).
