Joseph Walsh was a native of Chorley, Lancashire and died of wounds whilst serving with 'C' Company, 8th Battalion, King's Own (Royal Lancaster) Regiment on 1 May 1917. He is buried in the Faubourg D'Amiens Cemetery.
